We are extremely proud of our team at Blossom. Hailing from various parts of the world and with diverse backgrounds within the childcare sector, each director brings their own flair to our programs. All of our directors have a full police background check aswell as being first aid and CPR qualified.
Jiya at Tulip
Jiya is originally from the Philippines, She moved to Canada in 2015 after completing her Post Baccalaureate in Teacher Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. At the beginning of 2018, she applied to become a director of Tulip. I interview and trialled her personally and was blown away! She is a natural with children particularly excelling and enjoying working with our preschoolers.
Shaira at Buttercup
Shaira started with us in February 2019. She is originally from the Philippines where she was a NICU nurse and has lots of experience in paediatrics. Shaira was trialled and trained by Franky and she was an extremely fast learner! Her English is amazing, she was very inquisitive and wanted to know the ins and outs of every aspect of the job. She is super friendly, always smiling and a joy to be around. The children and parents have all bonded with her very quickly. Shaira loves to ask lots of questions!...

Lourdy at Lily
Lourdy is Blossom’s longest standing employee, she started with us in August 2014. Her background is in midwifery, but she has extensive experience nannying in both Hong Kong and Calgary! She is a dream employee, such a friendly and welcoming lady with a heart of gold. Everyone adores Lourdy! She is an incredibly hardworking person and always goes above and beyond with the parents and children. You will be invited to parties she puts on for the children at Halloween and Christmas, she is always so giving.
Laura at Daisy
Laura is Blossom's newest employee. She has a BSc in Psychology-Education-Languages and she is an Elementary School Teacher with 8 years of experience. As a teacher and as a mother she tries to reinforce the model of Positive Discipline, because she strongly believes there are no bad children, just good and bad behaviors. She is from Colombia and her native language is Spanish; therefore, one of the objectives in her home is to introduce simple vocabulary in Spanish. She loves kids and makes sure they are safe and learn while they have fun.
